Unattached Patient Registry

The Alberta Find a Provider website (also known as the Unattached Patient Registry and formerly the Alberta Find a Doctor website) is designed to make it easier and quicker for people in Alberta to find a family doctor or nurse practitioner accepting new patients.

Participating physician members are added to the website upon becoming a member of our PCN.

Physicians accepting new patients can reach out to unattached patients who have registered on the website. Clinics can claim patients without a physician being listed as ”accepting” on the website.

To claim patients on the website, members or a delegated administrator from their clinic must complete the Unattached Web Registry – User Training form to have an account created by our PCN’s Member Services & Engagement Coordinator.

Patients can either:

• Search the listed providers via Alberta Find a Provider and contacting the clinic
• Request a healthcare provider contact them by clicking help me find a clinic and completing the website registration questions
