March 25: Chronic Pain ECHO Series — Older Adults and Pain Management: Pearls and pitfalls from the front line

Presented by the Alberta College of Family Physicians and South Zone PCN, the ECHO program is a case-based webinar series for family doctors and interdisciplinary team members interested in improving the care they provide to people with pain. The series will feature didactic presentations as well as anonymized case presentations supported by a team of experts in the field. This webinar will see Dr. Sara Majeed present on older adults and pain management.

After the Tuesday, March 25 session, Older Adults and Pain Management: Pearls and pitfalls from the front line, participants will be able to:

  • Describe an approach to persistent pain management in older adults
  • List potential risks unique to pain management in older adults
  • Review local resources for pain management in the community
