Dear family medicine and specialist colleagues,

We are happy to announce that Dr. Mitra Arjang has joined our practice and brings her surgical experience to provide additional services to our patients.

We accept referrals for a wide range of minor surgeries including:

• Excision of dermal/subdermal lesions
• Biopsies
• Scar removal and revision
• Nail procedures
• Vasectomies
• Circumcisions (infants up to 3 mo., older than that would require consultation)
• Anal skin tags

Please inform your patients that circumcision, most scar revisions, and cosmetic mole removal would not be covered by Alberta Health and requires direct payment.

Referrals may be faxed or emailed, but please ensure the patient’s AHS number and contact details are valid.

For people aged 14 to 55, we continue to provide IUD or Nexplanon consultations, and insertions are booked within two weeks. We also offer same-day emergency contraception with a copper IUD and endometrial biopsies.

Migraine Botox injections and trigger point injections are still done by Dr. Michelle Hart only (by referral).
