Deer Valley Medical Clinic is a fast-paced, multi-physician walk-in and family practice clinic. We are committed to promoting, maintaining, and enhancing the quality of life and health of our patients.
Our clinic is located in the southeast quadrant of Calgary (Deer Valley Marketplace). Our operating hours are as follows. While these are our existing posted hours, we are flexible in terms of staffing and operating hours depending on the availability of current or potential physicians.
- Monday to Friday – 10 am to 6 pm
- Saturday – 10 am to 4 pm
- Statutory holidays – 10 am to 4 pm
- Sundays – closed
Our support staff includes:
- Registered Nurses
- Medical Office Assistants
- Dedicated Referral Coordinator
- Office Management
- Access to Primary Care Behavioural Health provider through the South Calgary PCN
We are part of the South Calgary Primary Care Network. Our EMR is Telus Health MedAccess. Our clinic offers a full range of family practice services including pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric medicine, IUD clinic, early obstetrical care, women’s health, lumps and bumps clinic and office-based procedures. We have eight exam rooms and a fully equipped treatment room.
We are looking to add full or part-time physicians to our busy clinic. Key responsibilities would include thorough medical assessments and examinations; determine and recommend treatment and investigations as required; provide education to patients on the nature of their specific medical condition; and make appropriate recommendations for investigative and treatment interventions.
Qualified candidates are required to be licensed to practice in the Province of Alberta; and be in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. Our remuneration is fee for service, based on a competitive split agreement.
