Primary Care Centre extending holiday, weekend hours

Effective Saturday, April 1, the Access Appointment Service at the Primary Care Centre will expand its weekend and holiday hours to 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The new hours of operation will:

• Increase after-hours capacity during times when many clinics are closed
• Better align with the hours of the Calgary Foothills PCN and Mosaic PCN clinics we collaborate with to improve access for patients

Previously, the service had been available 1 – 4 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

Referral volumes remain high, so please consult the inclusion-exclusion criteria and use your best judgment when submitting a referral.

We have updated the hours online, at the clinic (weather dependent), and on the Access Appointment Service poster.

Hours of operation going forward:

• 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. on weekdays
• 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on weekends and holidays
