PCCM resources

Tools and resources are available to support family physicians looking for more information about the new Physician Comprehensive Care Model (PCCM).

The model, announced at a news conference on Thursday, Dec. 19 is compensated based on time, panel size and patient complexity.

Enrolment is due to open in January 2025 with full implementation in spring 2025, provided there are at least 500 physicians enrolled.

Alberta Medical Association members can express their interest in the PCCM via the AMA member dashboard. Physicians will then be issued an Alberta Health PCCM attestation form.
