Our PCN is now accredited with commendation

At the end of 2024, our PCN participated in an Accreditation Canada survey — evaluating the extent to which we meet national standards of excellence in governance, leadership, infection prevention and control, medication management, and primary healthcare services.

We are pleased to announce that we received Accreditation with Commendation. This accomplishment is reflective of our commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Our PCN chose to participate in this voluntary process to identify areas of strength and opportunities for growth within our organization.

Overall, we met:

• 96 per cent of criteria for accreditation
• 94 per cent of Accreditation Canada’s Required Organizational Practices

This is an excellent result that our team is very proud of.

We will use the evaluation data to inform our operations so we can continue to be leaders in healthcare excellence.
