Feature: Save time with Lexicomp, UpToDate

To put time back in your day, we offer all members subscriptions at no cost to them to:

• Lexicomp, which connects physicians to fast, relevant drug information, including lab and diagnostic medicine and indication-specific dosing
• UpToDate, which combines technology and an understanding of clinical workflow to help answer clinical questions quickly

UpToDate is an evidence-based, continuously updated clinical decision support resource that can assist you with routine or complex patients, and it includes a basic version of Lexicomp.

But only 20 per cent of Lexicomp is available to you through UpToDate.

Using the full version of Lexicomp (also evidence-based) gives you:

• More medication dosing information with over 130 medical calculators — four times what is available through UpToDate’s basic version of Lexicomp
• Multiple databases referencing special populations like pediatrics, seniors, pregnant or lactating, and chronic disease
• Drug-allergy interactions not available through UpToDate

Some sources of dosing information have become less accessible to physicians, so consider trying Lexicomp if you have not already.
