The Calgary Silver Linings Foundation builds awareness of eating disorders in Alberta and offers treatment programs and services.

The foundation provides therapeutic group programming, a peer support program, and support for health professionals navigating their patients’ eating disorders.
Family physicians can contact the foundation’s community navigator, an RN specializing in eating disorders, with questions at 403.536.4025 or email [email protected].
Group programming for adults and teens:
- Teens with eating disorders (aged 12 – 17) online support group
- Adults with eating disorders and adults struggling with binge eating online support groups
- Art therapy and body image support (for adults) groups
- Parent and loved ones workshop, series, and meal support coaching
Please note: The group programming has registration fees that are subsidized by the foundation to allow access to all. If the cost is a barrier, individuals can contact the foundation to discuss financial assistance.
The free peer support program for people aged 15 and up connects individuals with a mentor who has:
- Received clinician-supervised training
- Recovered from an eating disorder
