Whenever you have time, you can now watch the 75-minute recording of the CME Connect webinar on sex, gender, and dementia from Oct. 17.
In the recording, Dr. David Hogan, a specialist in geriatric medicine, provides an education session that:
- Reviews the effects of sex and gender on dementia risk, prevention, presentation, and treatment
- Examines what is known about sex and gender differences in family caregiving and institutional care
- Discusses how the above can be used to inform clinical practice
The Alzheimer Society of Calgary also provided an overview of their services.
At any time, you can find the link to the recording on the CME & PD archive.
