CME Connect: Sex, gender, dementia recording

Whenever you have time, you can now watch the 75-minute recording of the CME Connect webinar on sex, gender, and dementia from Oct. 17.

In the recording, Dr. David Hogan, a specialist in geriatric medicine, provides an education session that:

• Reviews the effects of sex and gender on dementia risk, prevention, presentation, and treatment
• Examines what is known about sex and gender differences in family caregiving and institutional care
• Discusses how the above can be used to inform clinical practice

The Alzheimer Society of Calgary also provided an overview of their services.
