Clinical Pharmacology consultations (updated one-pager)

Clinical Pharmacology (CP) is a physician-led consultation service for healthcare providers (read the updated one-pager for more details).

Physicians and nurse practitioners are encouraged to contact the physician on call for CP with questions about:

• Suspected adverse drug events of any kind
• Polypharmacy/overprescribing
• Deprescribing
• Unusual or unpredicted responses to therapeutic use of medications
• New or unusual drug interactions
• Supra/subtherapeutic drug concentrations
• Restarting medications after an adverse event
• Management of therapeutic drug discontinuation/withdrawal syndromes
• Interpretation of pharmacogenomic testing results

CP consultations are available between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday – Friday (excluding holidays) via:
