Calgary Zone infectious disease webinar

On Monday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m., the next two-hour webinar in the Calgary Zone series will examine the fall respiratory virus situation in the Calgary area and more:

• Dr. Jim Kellner will lead a session on influenza, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and COVID-19.
• Dr. Christine Luelo will lead her regular Hot Topics segment and there will be an update on AHS bariatric clinic process changes in the context of more patients asking for active management of obesity.
• There will also be a discussion about the December launch of four new surgical specialties on the FAST central access program (plastic surgery, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, and oral maxillofacial surgery).
