Wednesday, April 30 is the deadline to submit a nomination for the AMA Achievement Awards:
- Medal for Distinguished Service for a physician who has made an outstanding personal contribution to medicine and Albertans that has contributed to the art and science of medicine and raised the standards of medical practice.
- Medal of Excellence and Achievement in Rural/Remote Medicine for a physician who has made an outstanding personal contribution to rural/remote Alberta patients and to the communities in which they live.
- Medal of Honour for a non-physician who has raised the standards of health care and contributed to the advancement of medical research, medical education, healthcare organization, health education, and/or health promotion to the public.
