AHLP: More supervised exercise locations, diabetes resources

For easier patient access, the Alberta Healthy Living Program – Calgary Zone (AHLP) is expanding its in-person group exercise classes to four more locations, and a set of diabetes management classes are now available provincewide.

By the end of January, the supervised exercise program’s classes offered out of South Health Campus and East Calgary Health Centre will also be available at:

• Richmond Road Diagnostic & Treatment Centre
• Killarney Aquatic & Recreation Centre
• Thornhill Aquatic & Recreation Centre
• Southland Leisure Centre

Please note: These exercise services are restricted to Calgary Zone adult residents with a chronic condition. All patients must meet with an exercise clinician before they could participate in an exercise class, and not all classes are offered out of all locations.
