Contact usThe Alberta Lung Cancer Screening Program (ALCSP) is available for patient referrals until March 2024.
So far, the program has received 1,130 eligible referrals, 110 of which have come from CWC PCN members.
The impact of this program has already been felt by our community, with eight referred patients being diagnosed with previously undetected lung cancer.
The ALCSP team has shared the story of one such patient, Ann Stuart, to demonstrate the impact of this program and its importance. Thanks to the ALCSP, Ann’s cancer was caught in stage one and was treatable.
Along with the recent launch of their new and improved online lung cancer screening tool, the ALCSP team has also opened a self-referral option for patients.
This tool allows you to quickly determine the eligibility of your patient and download a printable referral form — all in one place.
