May 13: Chronic Pain ECHO Series — The Inherited Patient on Opioids

Presented by the Alberta College of Family Physicians and South Zone PCN, the ECHO program is a case-based webinar series for family doctors and interdisciplinary team members interested in improving the care they provide to people with pain. The series will feature didactic presentations as well as anonymized case presentations supported by a team of experts in the field. This webinar will see Dr. Lori Montgomery present on inheriting patients on opioids.

After the Tuesday, May 13 session, The Inherited Patient on Opioids, participants will be able to:

• Describe an approach to management and assessing a new patient who is on long term opioids
• Implement a personalized management plan for opioid management
