Eye health webinar

On Tuesday, Oct. 22 at noon, the Alberta Association of Optometrists is offering a comprehensive overview of common vision concerns and issues affecting children in a one-hour webinar.

• When to take children to an optometrist
• Normal vision development
• Common pediatric eye disorders and diseases (amblyopia, strabismus, and refractive errors)
• Myopia control

Presenter: Alia Cappellani is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and Scleral Lens Society. She currently practices and assists in resident supervision at Mission Eye Care, Centre for Dry Eye and Corneal Disease in Calgary.
