March 20: Trauma Therapy in a Person with Pain

Presented by the Calgary and Area Primary Care Networks, PCN Pain Rounds is a grand rounds-style webinar series for family doctors and multidisciplinary team members interested in improving the care they provide to people with pain.

After the Thursday, March 21 session, Trauma Therapy in a Person with Pain, participants will be able to:

• Explain to a patient how trauma and pain interact
• Discuss how different trauma therapy approaches (ie. Accelerated resolution therapy, EMDR) might help a person with a history of pain and trauma
• Assist a patient to choose a provider and an approach to trauma therapy
