World Family Doctor Day

Every month is a good month to show physicians our appreciation, and May is home to two special days in particular — National Physicians Day and World Family Doctor Day.

Our physician members are the foundation of our PCN, and we proudly feature them throughout the year in our Instagram and Facebook posts.

For May, we have collaborated with the other PCNs in the Calgary Zone to plan an upcoming appreciation series featuring family physicians centred around World Family Doctor Day (Sunday, May 19).

Thank you for caring for patients and being a member of our PCN. Our goal is to provide our members with the most helpful tools and support systems so they can concentrate on what’s most important: their patients.

The ACFP has also posted a page inviting you to get involved in celebrating World Family Doctor Day by posting a member moment, sharing a “Happy WFDD” greeting, writing about why you love family medicine, or recognizing a peer.
