Contact usEffective Friday, Jan. 20, referrals sent to Facilitated Access to Specialized Treatment (FAST) will be visible in Netcare for authorized users.
Through the Clinical Document Viewer tree, referrals will be visible for each patient.
Authorized users who submit referrals will be able to use the My Referrals Dashboard view to see the status of all their referrals.
A reference document with details about all of the eReferral changes for referring and receiving providers will be available online later this month.
Effective immediately, the grace period has ended for urology and non-urgent orthopedics and spine referrals sent to the old phone number, surgeon, or specialist.
Since Oct. 11, the FAST project centralized these referrals to one fax number: 1.833.627.7023.
During the grace period, referrals not sent to the centralized number were forwarded for review — but as of January, they are being sent back to the referrer.
